Install a certificate into CEGID Web Access Server

Step 1 : Retrieve the files

Place all the files in the CWS repertory by default: c:\cws\

The cert-example.cer file you received must have the same name than the .csr file: FQDN.cer

The private key file must be renamed in order to delete the .tmp extension.

Step 2 : Install the certification chain

Use the MMC to install all the intermediate and/or root certificates, see Install intermediate or root certificates manually

Step 3 : Activation

Go to Settings / Advanced Options / Certificates

Tick the case: "Use SSL protocol" (see page 8 of the official documentation provided herein).

Stop and restart the Web Access Server for the modification to be taken into account.
