Electronic data interchange (EDI) signature

Several e-commerce flow need certificates:

• AS1: uses S/MIME on SMTP base
• AS2: uses S/MIME on HTTP or HTTPS base
• XML: uses XML signature functions

For those needs we recommend Sectigo Organization Personal Email class 2 certificates.

Warning: do not mixes messages signature certificate (here above) and AS2 server certificates to activate HTTPS port for messages reception. Activation of HTTPS port requires a standard certificate: Obtain a server certificate.

EDI invoices exchanges via AS2 protocol is compliant with French legislation about invoices dematerilization (article 289 bis of CGI). But a class 2 certificate (or higher) has to be used (check with your legal department).
