20101010: VeriSign replaces its 1024-bit roots

VeriSign replaces its roots and intermediary certificate on October 2010. It concerns all VeriSign server certificates and Thawte Supercert certificate.

The browsers recognition won't be impacted much thanks to crossed certification with former roots.

From october the 10th, certificates with a 3-years (and more) lifetime certificates must be issued with a 2048-bit key. It will become mandatory in January 2011.
