Do objects need to be resigned after my certificate renewal?

The need to resign a code (with your developper certificate) vary according to the implementation of signature validators by editors. It is not under our control. We recommend:

• Microsoft Authenticode technology with timestamping: there is no need for your objects to be resigned, the previous signature will continue to work after the certificate expiration
• Microsoft Authenticode technology without timestamping: it is essential to resign the objects to make then recognized as valid
• Java technology: it is advised to resign your objects
• Netscape technology: it is advised to resign your objects
